GRACE TERRY
introduction
My name is Grace Terry, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate based in Hutto, Texas, supervised by Brandee Smith, LPC-S. I currently see clients online and plan to offer in-person sessions in the future. My husband and I live here with our miniature dachshund, Lottie. I look forward to the possibility of working with you.
My heart for this work is rooted in a deep desire to walk alongside people on their journey toward healing, wholeness, and deeper connection - with themselves, others, and God. I offer counseling that emphasizes spiritual integration, creating a space where emotional honesty and spiritual growth are welcomed. Being a therapist is more than a profession; it’s a calling that began years ago when I discovered the joy of creating safe, intentional spaces for people to open up and be known.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years in storytelling and journalism - work that taught me the value of listening deeply and honoring people’s experiences. That path eventually led me here, to a field where I can walk with clients in real time as they seek clarity, healing, and renewal.
During my practicum, I had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, which prepared me to launch my practice, Stone & Stream Counseling. Today, I work primarily with adults of all ages, using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I specialize in relationships and communication, spirituality and faith integration, trauma, depression and anxiety, and life transitions.
My hope is that Stone & Stream Counseling becomes a place of peace and safety for you - a space where your story is held with care and where you can move gently toward the healing and rest your heart has been seeking.
